Kenda,

You are doing awesome with him.   Words can't express so I'll stick to WOW!!!!
Julie said she got on him....that is cool that you're comfortable enough to put other people on him - that gives me confidence too.

Hi Kenda,

So we haven't stopped talking about Zorro since we brought him home.  If were not talking at home were calling friends.  I'm so excited for the coming year.

It will be a lot of fun bringing him up to speed.  I wasn't sure how my 2007 season would go with a new horse....I have a feeling I'll be competitive in my division sooner I thought possible.

I think I figured out what sets you apart from so many other trainers.  Most are really good riders...after watching you with your own and other peoples horses I've come to the conclusion its the relationship you build with each horse. I think that lets you take horses further in a shorter time than most other trainers.   Zorro had his own set of issues.... a people loving, under exposed, extremely spoiled 6 year old with 30 days in 2004 that I was to afraid to get on. In the beginning he wanted to maintain his spoiled ways, after 60 days I brought home a relaxed, willing horse.  He still loves people and I can lope while shooting a pattern with with ease.   You said the icing on the cake was shooting from him....the fact my Mom, who only rides babysitters, can ride him too is the cherry on top of the icing.  It has her excited about riding again.  Getting Zorro accustomed to a mounting block because you knew I used one was extremely considerate ...maybe that's the filling.   My only expectation was to bring home a horse that wouldn't buck me off :)

Thanks again for a doing a great job!!!!
